1998 Toyota Sienna
by Anonymous Reviewer on 3/30/2024 2:09:50 AM
The 1998 Toyota Sienna has plenty of room and lots of horse power. It has the most horse power in its class . Toyota Sienna can go well over 300,000 miles strong 321,975. Just keep up with the maintenance . The 1mz-fe engine is the same as you will find in Lexus cars . The only issues that seems to come up is oil sludge in the 1mz-fe engine but I've had no issues with my 98 Toyota Sienna . The 1mz-fe non-interference engine is best rather than the 1mz-fe vvti engine on the 1st generation Toyota Sienna - 5.0
BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned!
by Jess Moi on 7/6/2023 12:16:26 AM
2003 Toyota Sienna CE. Just ONE repair service in the 18 yrs I’ve owned it (I bought it used in 2005). I loved my former Mazda 626 (kinda sporty for a sedan), with its wonderful sun roof & very comfortable bucket seats, but the Sienna has served me MUCH longer and has a lot more options for practical function for me. For 10 yrs now I’ve had my back seats out & have used my van more like a covered pick-up. Now, these days, I can’t see going back to a lower stature vehicle. There are too many SUVs, trucks & vans that obscure your view when you’re riding lower. I immediately felt much more safer once driving a minivan where my visibility is as good as most other drivers (forget the monster RAM & Ford trucks, tho!). Before I got the Sienna, I felt very vulnerable in dense traffic not being able to see & being surrounding by taller, massive vehicles (i.e. I felt like I was a ‘sandwich’ waiting to occur….which actually had happened in ‘92, but just not totaled. And that was only after a year of having the vehicle!). - 4.0
Toyota Sienna Family Van

This van is very clean. New tires and new brakes. Engine runs great. Unfortunately reverse gear is slipping and needs transmission work. No problem with all forward gears.
